Four local high school seniors have been recognized by their churches and the Diocese of Rochester as being "Hands of Christ" in the community.

Susan Guydosh, Elisabeth Jeremko, Sean Reichhold, and Colleen Komar were honored with a plaque at a special recognition ceremony on October 23.

The Hands of Christ is a recognition program sponsored by the Department of Evangelization and Catechesis of the Diocese of Rochester to assist parishes in affirming their high school seniors.

To qualify, a student must consistently demonstrate a Christian attitude by word and example, be actively involved in the parish as well as their school or community, be a positive role model to their peers, be a practicing Roman Catholic in a parish in the Diocese of Rochester.
