Tom Ichikawa, a veteran of World War II,  raises the flag up the Kiwanis flag pole on Veteran's Day, as Jack Howey and Fred Tiffany salute.
 The Owego Kiwanis Memorial Flag Pole was formerly dedicated at Noon on Veteran's Day. 
 The flag pole is located in a grassy area at Exit 65, on Route 17C, across from McDonald's.
