Snow Day Child Care
8 am - 4 pm
 Bring your school-age child (5 - 12 years old) to Waterman Center for a fun filled day of games, movies, and crafts. Drop off starts at 8:00 am an snow days for Owego-Apalachin and Vestal School Districts. A McDonald's Happy Meal will be provided for lunch. $15 per child for members, $18 per child for non-members.

Little People, Big People
Native American Customs
November 4, Monday, 1 pm
 A program for three- and four-year-olds to learn about the Native Americans who lived in the Eastern Woodlands. $2 members, $3 non-members. 

Teasel Trees
November 13, Wednesday, 6-9 pm
 Create an ornamental tree all ready to decorate for the holidays. Jeanne Peterson will demonstrate how to harvest, prepare, and use teasel seed heads to make this unique tree. No prior craft experience is required. The cost of materials is included in the fee. Bring a hot glue gun and gardening gloves. $20 members, $25 non-members.

The Pilgrims & Thanksgiving
November 18, Monday, 1 pm 
 Find out how the first European settlers lived and what their children did to amuse themselves. Learn about our Thanksgiving tradition. Make a centerpiece for the table. This program is for 3-and 4-year-olds and an accompanying adult. $2 members, $3 non-members. 

Snow Shoe Making Class
November 19 & 26, December 3 & 10, 6-9 pm
 Waterman staff will teach you how to make your own snowshoes on Tuesday nights from November into December. Kits and instruction are included. The fee includes everything needed. Completed kits will be available for purchase, too. $125 members, $150 non-members.

Volunteer Naturalist Meeting
November 20, Wednesday, 9:30 am
 Find out what's happening and how you can help. Coffee and a morning snack will be provided.

Homemade Ice Cream
November 25, Monday, 1 pm
 The children will help make homemade ice cream. This program is for 3- and 
4-year-olds and an accompanying adult. $2 members, $3 non-members.

Animals in Winter
December 2 Monday, 1 pm
 Children find out where animals go and what they do when snow covers the ground. For 3-and 4-year-olds and accompanying adult. $2 members, $3 non-members. 

Parents' Shopping Getaway
December 7, Saturday, 1-5 pm
 Drop your kids at Waterman Center and go shopping. The kids will enjoy an afternoon of games, hikes, and nature crafts. Each child will receive a gift. $10 members, $12 non-members.
