Holiday Stamps

This year's traditional Christmas stamp (below, left) features a detail from Jan Gossaert's 16th Century oil painting of "Madonna and Child." The stamp will be available at post offices nationwide on October 11.	The 2002 contemporary holiday stamp (below, right) features four whimsical snowmen, symbolic of the joy and magic of the season. The snowmen stamps will be available nationwide on October 29.
