The City of Binghamton recently installed decorative lights on the South Washington Street Bridge, which connects the city's South Side with the downtown district. Built in 1886 by the Berlin Iron Bridge Company of Connecticut, the bridge is a three-span lenticular truss bridge. It is currently open only to pedestrian traffic. |
