VisionQuest Wagon Train Rolls Through Tioga County
The VisionQuest Wagon Train rolls along Route 38 bound for its overnight campsite in Newark Valley during their 1,000-mile trek. Since 1973, VisionQuest has offered an alternative to incarceration for juveniles. "Putting troubled youth in a healthy situation, surrounded by nature, staff acting as parents, discipline, and common sense gives them a way to return home with honor," said Bob Burton, VisionQuest board chairman. On the Wagon Train Quest the youth learn the importance of hard work and cooperation while they travel in mule-drawn covered wagons.
