Big People

A weekly nature
class for three- and four-year-olds and their "big people." $12 for members,
$16 for non-members.
Little Tiny
People Hike at Brick Pond

Children three
and younger will explore Brick Pond in Owego and look for ducks, turtles,
frogs, and beavers. Free for members, $2 non-members.
Full Moon

Children's
Luncheon on Hiawatha Island
August 17,
Thursday, 11:30am-1pm
Children ages
6 and under (and their grownups) are invited to a special lunch on Hiawatha
Island. They will ride the pontoon boat to the island, have lunch under
some tall old trees, and explore this beautiful island. Bring your own
lunch. No older siblings. $5 for members, $8 for non-members. Rain date
is August 21.

Class for Beginners

Saturday, 10am to Noon
Navigate through
the woods and fields on Hiawatha Island. The class size is limited to the
capacity of the boat - nine children and the teacher, Scott MacDonald.
Participants must be 10 or older. Bring a lunch. $9 for members, $12 for
non-members.
Summer Camp
Weeks 7-9
are for children ages 5 to 12. Week 10 is for ages 12 - 16. $75 for members,
$85 for non-members.
Week 7 -
Hiawatha Adventures
August 7-11,
Mon-Friday
Campers will
take several trips to Hiawatha Island and discover local history and what
makes this island so special.
Week 8 -
Beautiful Bugs
August 14-18,
Monday-Friday
Campers will
find insects and explore their ways.
Week 9 -
Wet 'n' Wild
August 21-25,
Monday - Friday
Another visit
to Hiawatha Island and lots of chances to visit the creek and the wet areas.
Week 10
- Wilderness Survival
August 28-September
1, Mon-Friday
A special
week for 12- to 16-year-olds interested in learning about basic outdoor
survival, camping, and map and compass reading.
