Kerrie Young has joined the volunteer
staff of Birthright of Owego located at 63 North Avenue in Owego. She is
a college intern from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, and has
completed her Birthright office training.
Kerrie has visited other local agencies and businesses during her internship at Birthright. One of the first highlights of her internship was meeting the mothers and babies who come to Birthright. Birthright provides free confidential pregnancy testing, information on community resources, maternity clothes, baby clothes, and concerned volunteers to share your problems. The other Birthright volunteers in Owego are Alexis Roberts, Marina Hart, Cynthia Brougham, and Nancy Wolf. Birthright office hours for April are Mondays 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, Tuesdays 10:00 am - 2:00 pm and 6:30 to 8:00 pm, Thursday 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, and Fridays 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
