New York State Department of Transportation workers have been marking the roads between Pennsylvania Avenue in Apalachin and Hiawatha bridge with white X's and numbers. The marks are control points for overlapping aerial photographs used to make maps. As of press time, we have not been able to determine who will do the mapping or what its purpose is. |
