Little People/Big People
April 6, 13, 20, 27, Thursdays, 10:30 - 11:30 am 
     All three- and four-year-olds and their "big people" are invited to join Naturalist Lisa Rodgers for a weekly nature class. They will play games, make crafts, go on hikes, and explore the natural world. No siblings, please. $12 members, $16 non-members. Registration required.

Drum Circle
April 8, Saturday, 7-8:30 pm 
     Join Patty and Dave Hitt to create a drum circle at Waterman Center Bring a drum, rattle, or just your voice. Appropriate for the whole family. Free.

2nd Annual Eddie Bauer Fashion Show
April 15, Saturday, 2pm 
At the Owego Elks Club, 225 Front Street, in Owego
     There will be door prizes, a raffle, live animals, high fashion supermodels, and lots of delicious desserts. Come out and support Waterman Center. $3.

Pre-Easter Egg/Nest Hunt 
April 16, Sunday, 9 am 
     This will be the first hike to look for nesting activity for the NYS breeding bird project. In the fields, forest, and by the stream, look for REAL eggs! Free. Registration required. 

Full Moon Hike
April 18, Tuesday, 7:45 pm 
     Sign up early for this popular hike. $2 for members, $4 for non-members. 

Beginning Map & Compass Reading
April 21, Friday, 10am-12:30pm
     Experienced Den Leader and Cub Master Scott MacDonald will teach basic map reading and compass skills. Ages 9 and up. Snacks included. Bring a lunch. Plan to be outside. Space is limited. $9 members, $11 non-members. 

Peep Village
April 14-26, Monday - Wednesday, 9:30am-12:30pm
     Children ages 8-10 are invited to this three-day school vacation workshop. Kids will create a miniature person (a "peep") along with a whole personality for it. They will spend the next three days building a village for this community of people out in the forest, using found materials. At the end of the last day, there will be an open house so parents can see the kids' handiwork. Bring lunch. Space is limited. $16 members, $20 non-members. Registration required.

Volunteer Meeting 
April 25, Tuesday, 9-10 am
