Historical Walking Tours

The society is presenting a series of walking tours in the historic district of Owego. Each tour will cover a different topic of local history, giving participants a view of the business and social life of the area, lead by a staff or volunteer of the historical society. Tours will be held on the second Saturday of the month, and begin at 11:00 am at the museum. Tickets are $5 per tour for non-members, $2.50 for members. Series tickets, at reduced cost, are available prior to the April tour for $30 per series, $15 for members.

April Tour - Owego's Historic Characters

April 8, Saturday, 11am

Local historian Tom McEnteer will lead a tour visiting sites related to some of Owego's historic characters - both real and imaginary. Tom McEnteer wis well known for leading informative and entertaining walking tours. The tour takes place throughout the Owego Historic District, and is scheduled to last approximately an hour and a half. For more information, call the museum at (687) 2460.
