Young Boater Safety Course

Youth between 10 and 18 years old who want to operate motor boats in New York State must take and pass a boater safety course before they can be certified. Cornell Cooperative Extension, Tioga County, is offering a Young Boater Safety course during April. The classes will be held April 13, 14, 17, and 19, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, at the Tioga County Office Building, 56 Main Street in Owego.

There is no fee for the course and the class is limited to 20 participants. Call the Cornell Cooperative Extension, Tioga County Office, at 687-4020 to register.
