Race fans, it's spring and that means Raceworld 2000. Raceworld 2000, the Southern Tier's largest motor sports expo is coming to Apalachin on March 17, 18, and 19. Presented by Don's Automotive Mall of Binghamton, Raceworld 2000 brings you all the area's top racing talent under one roof. This year's show will feature the Beachy Motor Sports Pillsbury Dough Boy Dirt Modified piloted by "A. J. Slideways" Alan Johnson, and the Golden Brothers Racing "One Hot Tamale," the world's fastest 1965 Chevy Impala pro mod drag car.
Take part in the Haun Welding Supply pit stop challenge. Kids, stop and visit the Pillsbury Doughboy in person. Enter the Horsehead Pick-A-Part Poster Contest. Don't miss Saturday's Little Miss, Junior Miss, and Miss Raceworld Pageant followed by the Spaulding Foundation Auction for injured drivers. There's something for everyone at Raceworld 2000.
Raceworld 2000 will be held on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, March 17, 18, and 19, at the Hidden Valley Electronics Complex on Main Street in Apalachin. Take Exit 66 of Route 17 and follow the signs. Admission in just $7.00 for adults, $3.00 for kids aged 7 to 12. Children six-years-old and younger are admitted free.
