A spring trip to New York City's Booth Theatre to see "Dame Edna" on Wednesday, May 17, is being sponsored by the Tioga County Council on the Arts (TCCA). Cost for the trip is $99 for members and $109 for non-members and includes transportation, continental breakfast, and entrance to the show.

"Dame Edna" features the comic creation of Australian comedian and British sensation Barry Humphries. Accompanied on stage now and then by on-stage pianist Andrew Ross and two leggy "Edanettes." The silver haired, bespectacled Edna entertains audiences with talk of England's royal family, babysitters, the life style choices of her children, and her late husband's health difficulties.

The bus will depart form the P&C parking lot at 7:00 am and arrive back in Owego around 10:00 pm. Reservations will be accepted with payment on a first come, first served basis. For more information, call TCCA at 687-0785.
