Pre-School Story Time

Thursdays, 10:30 am . Beginning Sept 16

Children ages two and up are invited to bring a grown-up to the library on Thursday mornings for stories, crafts, and quiet play. The story time introduces pre-schoolers to the love of reading and gives them an opportunity to interact with others while doing puzzles and simple crafts. Many parents find this setting a gentle way to help their child begin socializing with others. Registration is not necessary.

Congratulations

Congratulations to all the readers in the summer program. Over 60 students read during the four-week program earning a variety of awards from ice-cream to beach toys.

Many thanks to the wonderful volunteers and to the Big Dipper and Pat Mitchell's Ice Cream for their generous donations of ice-cream cone coupons.

Bottles-for-Books Drive

The library will be accepting donations of returnable bottles and cans throughout the month of September. The money raised will purchase additional books for the children's collection. Drop off cans and bottles on the library porch anytime.
