Senator Libous Unveils Mural with Local Artist

On June 24, Senator Thomas W.Libous (R-C:Binghamton) participated in the unveiling of a unique mural created by Waverly artist Ron Nogar. The mural is a dedication to Waverly's founding in 1854.

The mural, which hangs from the old bank building on Broad Street in Waverly, consists of high density foam and is 16 feet high, 11 1/2 feet wide, and 2 inches deep.

Following the unveiling ceremony, Senator Libous attended a brief reception hosted by the Tioga County Council of the Arts and Tioga County Chamber of Commerce at Lefty's Restaurant, which is also located on Broad Street.
