Two Summer Street Fairs will be held this summer to provide fun, entertainment, and educational experiences for Village of Owego youth and their parents. The fairs will include games, music, and displays.

The Owego Police Department and the Owego Fire Department will be on hand to show their equipment and talk with residents. Community political leaders will be on hand to talk with residents. Many area agencies and organizations will participate in this project. The streets will be blocked and booths and activities will be set up in the streets.

The first street fair will be held on Thursday, July 15, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, on Temple Street between Central Avenue and Liberty Street, and on Liberty Street between Main Street and Fox Street.

The second street fair will be on Thursday, August 19, from 2:00 to 6:00 pm, on Fox Street between State Street and Franklin Street.
