The John Nuveen Company today announced David Allen of INVEST Financial Corporation located at Tioga State Bank has been named an Executive Board Member of the Nuveen Advisory Council (NAC).

Allen became INVEST Manager, located at Tioga State Bank, in 1997. He lives in Owego with his wife Janet and two daughters, Megan and Sian. He has served as chairman of the Owego Historic Preservation Commission and is currently a trustee of the Coburn Free Library and an elder in the First Presbyterian Union Church. Allen is also a trustee of GHS (Guthrie Healthcare System) and a member of the GHS Finance Committee.

The Nuveen Advisory Council (NAC) is a select group of investment professionals from across the nation who have exhibited continuing excellence in the field of financial counseling. NAC members, who are elected annually by Nuveen, receive special services from Nuveen designed to add to their effectiveness in meeting the investing needs of their clients. In turn, NAC members serve as an important source of advice and counsel to Nuveen in its efforts to provide financial advisers with high quality products and services for individual investors.
