Ribbon Cutting at
Chat-A-Wyle in Apalachin

A ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of Chat-A-Wyle Coffee House in Apalachin was held on Monday, May 3. Chat-A-Wyle recently re-located from Endwell to Route 434 in Apalachin at the Fox Farm near Tioga Terrace.

Chat-A-Wyle Coffee House is the original home of soup in a bread bowl. They are open for breakfast at 7:00 am and serve lunch until 3:00 pm.

The Fox Farm, which was the site of the Hiawatha Silver Black Fox Ranch in the l920s, is also the home of three other unique businesses. Grapevine Cottage sells gourmet foods, candles, dolls, bears, and other gift items. Angels and Treasures offers angel ornaments and other items for gift giving. Long Creek Sheep offers 100% wool products.

Pam Babuka Gibson, owner of Fox Farm - or caretaker as she prefers to be called - had a dream to move her successful business Chat-A-Wyle to this novel location at the Fox Farm and welcomes new and old customers to experience a slice of nostalgia and to have a bite to eat and chat-a-wyle.
