Concerts in the Park for 1999
The Tioga County Council on the Arts and the Town of Owego announce
the 1999 Concerts in the Park series. Bring lawn chairs or blankets
and a picnic dinner. Refreshments are also available. Rain location is
the Owego Middle School, Elm Street, Owego. (Call the TCCA or listen to
the radio for details)
The concerts are held on Wednesday evenings from 7 - 9 pm
at the Hickories Park in Owego
June 30 Kirby Band (Big Band) with fireworks at 9:30 pm!
July 7 Steve Southworth & the Rockabilly Rays ('50s and '60s)
July 14 Ithaca Ageless Jazz (jazz)
July 28 Unity Group (variety)
August 4 Diamond Back Rattlers (bluegrass)
August 11 Southern Tiersmen & Sweet Adelines (choral)
