Two six-week art classes for adults will start this month at the Tioga County Council on the Arts (TCCA) in Owego.

"Basic Drawing," taught by famous local artist Bob Merwin, will be held on Tuesday afternoons from 3:00 to 4:00 pm, beginning January 26 through March 2. Total cost of the course is $60 for members of TCCA and $65 for non-members. A minimum of six and a maximum of 10 students are required to conduct the course.

"Basic Painting with Acrylics," also taught by Bob Merwin, will be held on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00 pm beginning January 26 through March 2. Total cost of the course is $80 for members of TCCA and $85 for non-members. A minimum of six and a maximum of 10 students are required to conduct the course.
