Nicole Fairbanks, daughter of Cathy and Scott Fairbanks of Apalachin, has a very special trip to Park Terrace Nursery School Friday Oct 30, She received a ride to school in an Apalachin Fire Department truck for her winning entry in "The Great Escape". Nicole and her parents planned the escape routefrom their house in case of a fire. Accompanying her was her father Scott and fireman Matt Harrington (L)and Chief Anthony Quaranta (R). The contest was sponsored by the National Fire Protection Association.
