Other Issues

Last month I mentioned a "mandatory" pre-K program was on the horizon. In a recent debate, Assemblyman Jay Dinga pointed out that he was not in favor of expanding the program beyond private sector-district endeavors. His opponent is in favor of mandatory, state sponsored, taxpayer funded pre-K. You decide if he came up with that idea overnight or those sounds are the political winds in Albany.

You can still have your kids from birth to 3-years-old. Then, after federal breakfast, lunch and dinner, and midnight basketball you can see your kids on the weekend. What a country!
