Watermen Center is celebrating Halloween early this year... and you don't want to miss out on this special event. The schedule of events include pre-registered hikes into the Waterman woods where your group will see different animal performers singing, dancing, and discussing life in the forest along a jack-o'-lantern light trail. The hikes are limited to 20 people, leave every 10 minutes, and pre-registration is highly recommended for the hikes. The other events are ongoing and include face painting, arts and crafts projects, double juggle performing juggle acts, teaching juggling tricks, making animals from balloons, a bon fire with storytellers, and food and hot drinks available for a small charge. In case of rain, the outdoor hikes will be performed in the auditorium. Volunteers are still needed for baking, costume making, and assistance at the event. Anyone interested in volunteering, call Eileen Shatara at 625-2221.
