Jennifer Elizabeth Junk, daughter of Linda and Jim Junk of O'Brien Avenue in Apalachin, graduated as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine last month from the Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in North Grafton, Mass.

Jennifer is a member of Alpha Beta chapter of Phi Zeta, the National Honor Society of Veterinary Medicine. She received the American Animal Hospital Award for Outstanding Clinical Proficiency in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery, and the Fort Dodge Anesthesia Award for Outstanding Proficiency in Clinical Anesthesia.

This month, Jennifer begins a 13-month internship at the Animal Medical Center in New York City.

A 1990 graduate of Owego Free Academy, Jennifer received a BA degree in Biology from the University of Buffalo.
