Zion Lutheran School Awarded Grant

Zion Lutheran School in Owego has been awarded a $375 grant from Aid Association for Lutherans (AAL). The grant is designed to encourage the staff of Lutheran early childhood centers to pursue professional development opportunities.

The grant was provided to more than 4,000 Lutheran childhood centers through the AAL Lutheran Early Childhood Education Grant Program. Since 1995, AAL has provided more than $4 million to Lutheran childhood centers across the country. AAL is based in Appleton, Wisconsin. It is a fraternal benefit society of 1.7 million Lutherans that provides insurance and volunteer opportunities to its members.
