Spring Garden Seminar

"Takin' It Outside," a Spring Garden Seminar, will be held on Saturday, March 21, at Tioga Gardens, 2217 Rt. 17C, in Owego. The seminar is sponsored by the "Blooming in Tioga" Project and Tioga Gardens. Proceeds from the seminar will benefit the "Blooming in Tioga" Project.

Cost for the seminar is $10 for the morning session, $10 for the afternoon session, or $15 for the all day seminar which includes lunch.

The morning session consists of "Perennials in the Landscape" from 9:00 to 10:30 am, presented by Lee Nelson, horticulture consultant; and "In Defense of Annuals" from 10:30 am to Noon, presented by Ed Kuhlman, owner of Tioga Gardens.

The afternoon session consists of "Herbs for Kitchen and Crafts" from 1:00 to 2:30 pm, presented by Judy Segebarth, syndicated columnist and organic practitioner; and "Stunning Garden Design" from 2:30 to 4:00 pm, presented by Duane Campbell, syndicated garden columnist.
