Little People/Big People
Feb 4,11,18,25, Wednesdays
10:30-11:30am or 1:30-2:30pm
Pre-schoolers and adults can join naturalist Eileen Shatara for another Little People/Big People Session which meets four times a month. Choose either the morning or afternoon session. Explore different aspects of nature through hikes, games, arts and crafts, and more! Pre-registration is required. Members $12, non-members $16.
The Search for the Holy Grail
February 8, Sunday, 1pm
Rich and Michelle Briere lead an easy "stop and smell the snowflakes" trip to Oakley Corners State Forest in Owego. If there is snow, the center offers two options: snowshoes or cross country skis. If not, it's a hike! Participants will be searching for the elusive "Holy Grail." The finder wins an appropriate prize. After the hike, gather next door at the Brier's outdoor fire pit for warmth, hot drinks, and toasted marshmallows. Call 687-2989 to register for this special winter trip which is co-sponsored by Waterman Center, ACC, TCHC, and the League of Professional Couch Potatoes.
Travelogue - Flower Gardens

Warm up your winter and plan your spring with two famous flower gardens: Longwood Garden in Pennsylvania and Butchart in British Columbia. Presented by Naturalist Gerry Hess. This program series is offered free of charge and is sponsored by the Tioga County Senior Citizens Foundation.
Craft Night
February 10 & 24, Tuesdays, 7-8:30pm
An evening of making crafts related to nature. Pre-registration is required. Members $12, non-members $16.
Waterman Center Un-Party Will NOT Happen
February 14
Continuing the tradition from last year, the center's Valentine Un-Party will NOT be held on February 14. Donations to the Un-Party will go to expanding the conservation education programs at Waterman Center as part of the overall Master plan. Watch the mail for your invitation!
