Folklore, superstition, or old wives' tale - you tell me. Have you heard these sayings which predict the winter months ahead? Let us know your ways to predict the winter!

Thunder in the fall foretells of a cold winter.

A warm November is the sign of a bad winter.

When squirrels bury their nuts early, it will be a hard winter.

If the woolly worm's head is more black than colored, the coldest part of the winter will come in the first months of winter.

The more black than brown a woolly worm is, and/or the wider the black stripe, the worse the winter.
