Elaine R. Leavenworth

Named Divisional Vice President, Marketing and Business Development

Elaine R. Leavenworth has been named divisional vice president, licensing and new business development in the international division of Abbott Laboratories.

Previously, Leavenworth was director, licensing and acquisitions in the same division. She joined Abbott in 1991 as manager, strategic planning.

Elaine, daughter of Tioga County Legislator Frances W. Leavenworth of Apalachin, graduated from Vestal High School. She holds a B.A. degree in public policy studies from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, and an M.B.A in finance and international business from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. Elaine lives in Chicago with her husband.
