The Ti-Ahwaga Community Players announce the receipt of grant funding in the amount of $4,250 from the Fannie C. Hyde Charitable Trust. The funding will provide state of the art wireless microphones as used on Broadway. The microphones will be used in the last performance of TCP's 50th season, Oklahoma!, playing May 29 through June 14. The grant will also provide upgrading for the computer system and a commercial refrigerator for the concession area. The Ti-Ahwaga Community Players, performs at Ti-Ahwaga Performing Arts Center, at 42 Delphine Street in Owego. The Tioga County Council on the Arts (TCCA) was recently awarded a $5,800 grant from the Mildred Faulkner Truman Foundation of Owego. The money will be used for the removal of old linoleum and carpeting from the first and second floors of the council, and the installation of new carpeting, linoleum, and rubber mats for the basement steps. Inspector Training Classes will be conducted in the Tioga County
Office Building, Auditorium at 56 Main St. in Owego. Inspectors must attend
only one of the following: June 9 at 1:00 pm, June 10 at 10:00 am
or 7 pm, June 11 at 1 pm, June 16 at 1 pm or 7 pm, June 18 at 10 am or
