The Tioga United Way is pleased to announce that in cooperation with the Tioga County Historical Society, they will be hosting an Art Exhibition featuring the work of Tioga County students in grades six through twelve. The Art Exhibition will take place at the Tioga County Historical Society's Museum located at 110 Front Street in Owego. The Exhibition will begin on Wednesday, May 6, and continue until Saturday, May 23. An Award's Ceremony will take place at the Owego Apalachin Middle School Auditorium at 7:00 pm on Thursday, May 21. In addition to local awards being presented, this year six high school students will be selected for awards courtesy of Congressman Michael Arcuri. The six selected students will have the opportunity to participate in an additional art competition entitled "An Artistic Discovery". This special art competition will be open to high school students living within the 24th Congressional District. The art work of selected students will be exhibited at the Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute School of Art Gallery in Utica, New York.
