Present Oklahoma!
The Ti-Ahwaga Community Players (TCP) present Oklahoma! directed by Brian Flynn, on stage at the TI-Ahwaga Performing Arts Center, 42 Delphine Street in Owego. Show dates are weekends, May 29 - June 14, Friday & Saturday nights at 8:00 pm and Sundays at 2:00 pm. Tickets are $18 regular admission, $15 for Senior Citizens on the Sunday matinees. The music is by Richard Rogers, the lyrics and book by Oscar Hammerstein II. A breakthrough in musical theater. Oklahoma!, was first staged by TCP in 1988 and is the last show of their 50th season. The plot is simple, revolving mainly around the question of who will take Laurey Williams to the box social: the decent Curly McLain or the sinister Jud Fry. A truly classic American musical that can be enjoyed by all. The Ti-Ahwaga Performing Arts Center is a 156 seat cabaret style
theater serving concession, beer and wine right to your table. Tickets
may be reserved with a Visa or MasterCard by calling the box office at
687-2130.
