| Republican Dinner
on May 15
The Tioga County Republican Committee will hold its 2009 Annual Spring Dinner on Friday, May 15, at the Owego Treadway Inn, 1100 State Route 17C, Owego. A reception will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 pm, and the dinner and program will begin at 7:00 pm. This year's special keynote speaker will be Mr. Ed Cox, who will talk about "The Resurgence of the Republican Party in New York State." Ed Cox is the son-in-law of former President Richard Nixon. Cox is very involved in Republican politics at the state level. The Tioga GOP event will also include a tax protest "Tea Party" just before the beginning of the dinner and program. Tickets for the May 15th Tioga County Republican Committee Annual Spring Dinner and Tax "Tea Party" are $30 per person or $230 per table of eight and can be obtained by contacting the committee at TiogaGOP@yahoo.com
