More than 20 outstanding mounts were displayed. There were many whitetails, longhorn sheep, wild boar, bear skulls a coyote pelt and, of course, a jackalope. The entrees were incredible, covering over 45 feet of tables. The dishes included everything from venison stew, stroganoff, and rabbit potpie, to roasted wild boar, buffalo, wild tuna and even snipe soup. 

 While waiting for dinner to begin those attending swapped stories and examined the many mounts. 

 About one hundred people were expected to attend but nearly 140 were present to partake in the evening meal and view the presentation, "The Alaska Experience" photographed and narrated by Paul Blasko, renowned wildlife photographer.

Paul was available to share his personal experiences in Alaska and other parts of the country. Game Warden, Joe Mihalek, was also available to discuss new laws and take questions on hunting issues. 

 After the presentation was desert. Members of the church served pies, cakes and ice cream.  It wasn't possible to leave hungry.

 Pastor Larry Jennings hosted the evening and was pleased to see such great attendance for his church's first attempt at sponsoring such an event. There have been many ideas and suggestions made and already, plans are in motion for next year's dinner.
