St. Patrick School in Owego is making Mother's Day shopping easy with its annual Spring Shopping Extravaganza May 9 and Flower Sale May 8 and 9.

 The Spring Shopping Extravaganza runs from 9:00 am to 3:00 p.m., Saturday, May 9, at St. Patrick Church hall, 300 Main Street in Owego. Find that special something for your favorite lady from participating vendors. Scheduled to be at the event are, Silpada, Jocelyn's Junk, Tupperware, Cookie Lee, Small Indulgences, All Hogwild Sales, Mary Kay, Tastefully Simple, Aback Photography, Pampered Chef, Arbonne, and Elmos Crafts. Anyone interested in having a booth at the sale may contact Je Je Fitzgerald at 687-1068.

 Beautiful flowers and plants will be available for purchase during the Annual Flower Sale which runs from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, Friday, May 8, and from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, Saturday May 9, at the school, located behind the church. Items for sale include hanging baskets, bedding plants, small pots, geraniums, and herbs. 

 St. Patrick School will also hold an Open House that Saturday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Families interested in the premium education St. Patrick School provides are encouraged to visit and talk with families and staff. Registration packets will be available for Pre-K through Fifth Grade. Also available will be registration packets for the new summer program being offered for grades two through five.
