Sweeney Not Seeking Re-Election as Owego Town Supervisor

 Town of Owego Supervisor Carol Sweeney has announced that she will not be seeking re-election when her term expires.

 Carol released the following statement: "It has been my honor to serve the residents of the Town of Owego these past eighteen years.  I have been blessed with a wonderful staff and have had the privilege of working with many good people.  However the time has come to leave town service at the end of my term and pursue other interests.  Therefore I am announcing today that I will not be seeking re-election."
