Maundy Thursday - 7:00 pm, celebrate the Last Supper by sharing communion together at a table set for a feast.  Groups of 12 will be invited to break bread and pass the cup to one another.  At the end of the service,  the sanctuary will be darkened with black clothes to prepare for Good Friday. Breakfast with the Easter Bunny - 8 to 11:00 am, at the Moose Club, Taylor Rd., Owego. Sponsored by Owego Gymnastics. $3 seniors and children under 12, $5 adults, $20 family of 5. Tickets are $1 more at the door. Call Owego Gymnastics & Activity Center for tickets 687-2458.

DAR Meeting - 11:30 am, at Tioga Center Methodist Church, Toga Center. "Cabin Fever" Luncheon. Bring dish to pass from an ancestral recipe and $3 gift exchange. Members, guests, and women interested in joining the Beulah Patterson Brown Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution are invited.

Easter Egg Hunt - 1:00 to 2:30 pm. Registration at 12:30 pm. At Apalachin Alliance Church, 293 Tobey Rd., Apalachin. Ages 5 - 11, under 5 welcome with direct supervision from parent/guardian. Puppet show after hunt. Rain or shine. Call 625-2013 to pre-register.

Easter Sunrise Service - 7:00 am at Waterman Center, 403 Hilton Rd., Apalachin. Service by the Apalachin United Methodist Church. All are welcome.

Owego Community Easter SonRise Service - 7:00 am at the Owego Treadway Inn. Following the service is a Community Easter Breakfast at Abide-In-The-Vine Fellowship Church on Taylor Rd (old Gladden school). Free-will offering. Call 687-4394 for info about service, 687-3426 for info about breakfast. 

Easter Sunday Service - 11:00 am, starts in the darkened sanctuary, reminding us that Mary and the disciples went to the tomb while it was still dark. Celebration includes restoring the light and color to the sanctuary, special pieces of music, as  resurrection cross covered with flowers, celebration of the Eucharist. Chicken and Biscuit Dinner - 4:30 to 6:30 pm, Apalachin United Methodist Church, 303 Penna. Ave., Apalachin. Adults $7, Sr. Citizens $6.50, children 6-12 $4, free for children 5 and younger. Take-outs available.

Motorcycle Ride - 60-mile police escorted motorcycle ride, benefits NYSVA homes/hospitals. Leaves from Candor School at Noon. Registration  starts at 9am.  50/50's, raffles, food,  chicken BBQ. Cost is $15 for rider,  $10 for passenger. 659-3113 or 760-0188.
