• Elections
 Campville welcomes our new officers for 2009: Chief Ken Schneider, 1st Assistant Chief Rob Ziemba, 2nd Assistant Chief Mark Daniels, Captain John Hickey, 1st Fire Lt Kevin Kotski, 2nd Fire Lt Patrick Mercer, 3rd Fire Lt Reed Durand, Squad Chief Rosemary Kotski, 1st Squad Lt Carl Laposky, 2nd Squad Lt Mark Radzikowski. Our executive officers are: President Rob Ziemba,Vice President Al Peterson, Secretary Kristen Lovejoy and Treasurer Sherri Young. 

 Congratulations to all of you. We look forward to the new year and working together as a team.

• Awards Banquet
 Campville honored their members at their annual awards banquet/Christmas party at Station One. Kevin Ford received a pin for his 25 years of service and is now a life member of the department; Reed Durand received a pin for his 10 years of service; and Mark Radzikowski was honored with Firefighter of the Year.

• Training
 Campville Fire Department hosted an Introduction to Fire Officer course last month. Members Ken Schneider, Rob Ziemba and Dianna Ford completed this nine week course. Thank you for your dedication and time given to prepare for leadership in the department. There are a lot of new regulations coming into effect in the new year and training for our volunteers is an important step in keeping the department in compliance. 

 As always, Tuesday night is our drill night and we welcome anyone to stop in the station and get acquainted. New members are welcome and we will find a place for you. 

• Sick Call
 Rosemary Kotski was undergoing some tests this month and is now home recuperating. Our thoughts are with you.

 We wish everyone a Happy, Healthy and Safe New Year.
