Lions Held Senior Citizens Dinner

Senior Citizen President George Penny looks on as Lion Don Castellucci and Judy Murphy pick winning raffle tickets for fruit baskets for attendees.

The Apalachin Lions Club held their 44th Annual Senior Citizen Dinner on October 29 at Donoli's Restaurant in Apalachin.

Lion Don Castellucci was the event emcee, and was joined by Lions Dick Masters, Charlie Digiacomo, Gabe Desantis, Ralph Riley, Dan Drewery, and President Joe Murphy. Seventy people attended the dinner. Entertainment was provided by Prism Jazz Trio. Senior Citizen President George Penny provided some comments on behalf the Apalachin Senior Citizen Club, thanking the Apalachin Lions on their continued community service.

P&C Grocery helped underwrite the fruit baskets which were given to many attendees. Ye Old Country Florist helped underwrite the carnations that were given to all ladies in attendance.
