The Waterman Conservation Education Center is offering Halloween Hikes on October 25, from 6:00 to 8:30 pm. Participants can hike on candlelit trails and meet costumed interpreters dressed as forest creatures such as a bear, deer, and opossum. There will be a storyteller at the bonfire, face painting for the kids, games, and more. Refreshments will be available for purchase. Feel free to wear a costume. Hikes leave every 10 minutes.
 Registration is highly recommended. Call 625-2221 to register and reserve your spot. Cost of the Halloween Hike is $6 each for members, $8 each for non-members, and free for children under three-years-old.
