Tioga County Rural Economic Area Partnership (REAP), LDC in partnership with Tioga County Economic Development & Planning will be hosting a free, two-evening workshop to assist entrepreneurs in moving forward with their self-employment business venture.  If you are planning to become an entrepreneur, you have probably heard bankers, investors, business people, and others say "You need a business plan!"

 Presenter, Ginny Robert, author of Let's Write Your Business Plan and Building Your Future in Self-Employment will guide you through the key components of your business plan.  When you finish this course, the marketing analysis, product/service detail, corporate structure, forecasting, financial analysis (and more) portions of the plan are well understood and in progress.  

 Each participant will receive a free copy of Let's Write Your Business Plan (an $18.95 value) and the companion template for developing the financial worksheets.  

 Ms. Robert holds a BA in education from Bradley University and a MBA from Binghamton University.  Ms. Robert is the Director of Broome Community College's Entrepreneurial Assistance Program and assists women, minorities, individuals with disabilities and dislocated workers in forming new businesses through acquiring the skills and capital needed to turn business concepts into a reality.  

 The workshop will be held 5:30 to 8:30 pm on October 22 and October 29 (Wednesdays) at the Tioga County Office Building, 56 Main Street in Owego.
