Reading Buddies is the name of new program for kids who need a little practice with reading. Children and a volunteer adult will spend a half hour just reading together. Volunteers will not be teaching reading - just encouraging! Call for more details.

• Interested in Quitting Smoking?
Is it time to quit smoking? Would you be interested in a support group that meets at the library? Call for more details.

• Books Du Jour

The Books Du Jour Group will discuss She May Not Leave by Faye Weldon.

• Library Board Meeting

The board meeting is open to the public.

• Friends of the Library
November 12, Wednesday, 7pm A "Friends of the Library" group will have an organizational meeting on Wednesday, November 12, at 7 pm. The purpose of the group will be to enrich the resources of the library and to promote its services in the community.
