1st Annual Pumpkin Contest
 The Historic Owego Marketplace announces The First Annual Pumpkin Contest will be held on Friday October 10, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. This is the first of what is expected to be an annual event.

 Participants are encouraged to bring their decorated or carved pumpkins to the courthouse facing the bridge at 5:00 pm for judging.  Pumpkins will be on display and a team of people will judge each pumpkin.  At the end of the event cash prizes and gift prizes will be awarded to the winners. 

 The community is invited to participate by entering a pumpkin or by stopping by to observe this exciting event.
