LION BREWERY OCTOBERFEST

The 4th annual Lion Brewery Octoberfest will be held on October 3 & 4 at the brewery grounds in Wilkes-Barre Pa. The traditional tapping of the first keg will take place on Friday at 5:00 pm followed by music, food, and lots of fine brew. Brewery tours and beer tasting with the Brewmanster are available. Lion brews both Stegmaier and Lionshead beers. The traditional Stegmaier Octoberfest Beer will be available later this month. Locally Lionshead is available at Willys in Friendsville.

A cousin of Charles Stegmaier Forve, who managed the Stegmaier Brewery in the early 1900s, enjoys a "Stegmaier Octoberfest" at last year's Octoberfest.
