Literacy Volunteers
 The next tutor training class for Literacy Volunteers is September 18, at 5:30 pm at the Endwell Fire Station. Training consists of six classes, after which you are matched with a student. Call 748-5478 to register.

Vendors Needed
 Vendors are needed for holiday bazaar to be held October 17, 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and October 18, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, at Park Terrace Community United Methodist Church, 30 Glann Road in Apalachin. For more information contact Sherri Reed, 687-7161 or visit web site www.parkterraceumc.org/bazaar

4-H Open Enrollment Day
 The Tioga County 4-H Program's Open Enrollment Day will be Saturday, September 13, at 9:00 am sharp, in the auditorium of the Tioga County Office Building, 56 Main Street, Owego. An informative workshop will be held for adults and youth that would like to learn more about the 4-H Program, and the  4-H staff will be on hand to talk about the 4-H Program.
