The 12u Bad Apples of Binghamton Area Girls Softball Association Incorporated (BAGSAI) in July won the championship of the 14u league at BAGSAI with an 8-1 record. They also went to Salem, Virginia, in July for the 2008 Junior Olympic Eastern National Championships and placed 7th with a 2-2 record in tournament play. The 12u Bad Apples team is made up of girls 12-years-old or younger from the Souther Tier area.
