Five new names are: Sgt. Leonard Hull, Pvt. Richard Galpin of Newark Valley, Pfc. Elmer Barton of Town of Barton and Lansing, Cpl. Richard Henderson Jr. and Sgt. James Martin of Waverly.

Two died while captured as prisoners of war, one died while missing, and two were killed in action.

Engraved on the Tioga County Korea War Memorial are Pfc. Robert Burke, Pfc. Raymond Short of Owego, Pfc. Franklin Holdridge of Waverly, Pfc. David Card, Pfc. John Lisenby of Nichols, Pvt. Norman Briggs of Newark Valley, A2c John Maslin of Lockwood and Pfc. Raymond Weaver of Nichols.
