| Benefit
for Wyatt Ross
A benefit for the Wyatt Ross Trust Fund will be held on Saturday, June 14, from 1:00 to 8:00 pm at the Candor American Legion, 90 Spencer Road in Candor. Wyatt, age 9 months, and his mother Shana Tubbs, lost their father and fiancé to a tragic car accident last November. To help raise funds for Wyatt's care and education, a full day of special events are being planned, including live bands, food, and beverages, a pre-sale Pork Chop Barbeque, face painting, multiple auctions featuring woodcarving by local, national, and world woodcarvers Roger Westgate and Dave O'Konsky. There will be a turkey calling contest, horseshoes, washer tournaments, and a Captain and Crew Golf Tournament. Raffles include a 50/50 and a gun raffle.
