WWII Recognition Dinner Planned

Veterans of World War II, who served our country more than 60 years ago, will be honored at a recognition dinner at the VFW Glenn A. Warner Post #1371 at 207 Main Street in Owego on Sunday, June 8, 2008.

Social hour will begin at 1:00 pm, and a roast beef dinner will be served at 2:00 pm. Attendees are encouraged to bring memorabilia, scrapbooks, and pictures for display.

The dinner is free to all Post #1371 WWII veterans and all Tioga County WWII veterans, spouses, widows and widowers. Dinner will be $8.00 for all others.
